Our LOCAL company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to oversee and maintain 25 commercial properties! Our properties are located in Fort Wayne, and some surrounding counties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various maintenance disciplines, including plumbing, electrical and more. This role requires proactive problem-solving, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine inspections and maintenance across 25 active commercial properties.
2. Diagnose and repair issues related to plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and piping concerns.
3. Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment, maintaining optimal performance for commercial operations.
4. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, providing timely and effective solutions.
5. Collaborate with property ownership and other stakeholders to schedule repairs and minimize business disruptions.
6. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
7. Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
1. Experience in commercial property maintenance
2. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
5. Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Working Conditions:
1. Requires travel between multiple commercial properties.
2. May involve working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions.
3. On-call availability for emergency repairs.
